Gervontae Burgess, aged 20, was tragically killed on June 22, 2013, in Baltimore, Maryland. Burgess was sitting in a vehicle alongside Joyce Allston, aged 49, on the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when they were both shot. The shooting occurred late at night, at approximately 11:56 p.m. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and transported both victims to local hospitals, but unfortunately, neither survived the attack.
