Chad Alan Cardy, a 28-year-old resident of Shelbyville, Indiana, died on May 4, 2024, after being fatally shot in Indianapolis. The incident occurred early Saturday morning outside a residence in the 600 block of East 38th Street, near the intersection of 38th Street and College Avenue on the city’s north side.
