In the early hours of a Wednesday morning, the life of 17-year-old Keshawn Neely, a Black male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short. On September 23, 2020, at approximately 12:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to a call of shots fired in the vicinity of North Franklin Road and Pendleton Pike in Lawrence, a suburban community on the outskirts of Indianapolis.
