In the early morning hours of June 24, 2024, a violent incident unfolded in Indianapolis, Indiana, that claimed the life of 17-year-old Black / African American teenager Devon R. Robinson Jr. Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of West 32nd Street, situated near the Crown Hill Cemetery, around 2:35 a.m. following reports of a shooting.
