On May 24, 2022, Ashley Ruth Rock, aged 32, was found deceased in a ditch along the Sharon-Bedford Road near Route 318, in Liberty Township, Ohio. Originally from Painesville, Ohio, her body was discovered in what appeared to be suspicious circumstances, and authorities suspect that her body may have been moved to this location after her death. The incident has been under investigation, but as of now, it remains unresolved, with no definitive suspect identified.
