In the early moments of July 25, 2024, the life of 20-year-old Jathen Allen Maxwell was tragically cut short in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Responding to a shooting investigation on the 3900 block of Warsaw Street just after midnight, Fort Wayne police officers discovered Maxwell suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate arrival of medics, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Allen County Coroner's Office subsequently ruled his death a homicide.
