On July 25, 2024, at approximately 0003 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a fatal shooting in the 3900 block of Warsaw Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Jathen Allen Maxwell, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite being taken to a local hospital, Maxwell died from his injuries.
