In the early autumn of 2024, the life of 21-year-old Duron Martin Jr. was tragically cut short on the near northeast side of Indianapolis. On the morning of Wednesday, October 2nd, police were dispatched to the vicinity of East 21st and Sheldon streets after receiving a report of a person down. Upon their arrival shortly before 10:30 a.m., officers discovered a male victim with traumatic injuries.
