On October 12, 2024, Charles Lovelady Jr., a 28-year-old man, was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, specifically just before 3:15 a.m., at a fast food restaurant in the 900 block of Indiana Avenue. According to reports, the shooting was part of a "running gun battle" involving two separate vehicles whose occupants were exchanging gunfire.
