In the late evening hours of Saturday, October 26, 2024, the life of 35-year-old DeJuan Derrel Lee Burrus, a male resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short. Police were dispatched to the 4100 block of East Washington Street, near North Sherman Drive, shortly before 8 p.m. following a report of a person down. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Burrus outside with what were described as traumatic injuries.
