Paul Edward Smith, a 21-year-old resident of Tampa, Florida, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on April 23, 2013. Smith was sitting on the front porch of a residence in East Tampa when a vehicle drove by, and someone opened fire, fatally striking him. The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Lindell Avenue, a typically quiet residential area. Local law enforcement launched an investigation into the incident, but no immediate arrests were made.
