Mark Richmond, a 24-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was shot and killed on March 7, 2023, in the South Shore neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 7600 block of South Kingston Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Richmond and another 24-year-old man were critically wounded in the shooting, and Richmond later succumbed to his injuries.
