Trevonse L. Reed, a 28-year-old resident of Decatur, Illinois, was fatally shot on April 13, 2023. The incident occurred in the 700 block of S. 16th St. in Decatur, where Decatur police responded to a report of two gunshot victims around 8:35 p.m..

Upon arrival, officers found Trevonse L. Reed and a 26-year-old female, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Reed was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:06 p.m. in the emergency room. The 26-year-old fe ...
