On May 22, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Jimmie Lee Goodwin. According to Chicago police, the incident took place around 10:15 p.m. when two teenagers, ages 14 and 15, were walking on the sidewalk in the 100 block of West 104th Place. Suddenly, someone fired shots at them.
