Javontay Tolliver, a 33-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on April 17, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred near the Red Line CTA stop at West 55th and South Wentworth. According to reports, Tolliver was involved in an argument with another man, Frederick Stewart, also 33 years old, at the train station.
