Pierre's family and friends continue to seek justice and remember him fondly. Chris Cozzi, who cared for Pierre, is working to establish a nonprofit organization called "Pierre's Way" to provide opportunities for at-risk youth to play baseball, honoring Pierre's memory and passion for the sport.
