On July 10, 2024, Stephen Monigan, a 68-year-old male resident of Cahokia Heights, Illinois, was found deceased in his home located in the 2000 block of Maple Tree Lane. The cause of death was determined to be from apparent gunshot wounds.
The incident was reported at approximately 7:25 a.m., prompting a response from the Cahokia Heights Police Department. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Monigan's body inside his residence.
