Jamarcus F. Walker, a 31-year-old man from Mississippi, died on Friday, September 6, 2024, due to injuries sustained in a shooting that occurred in Peoria, Illinois. The incident took place on Wednesday night, with police responding to a ShotSpotter alert of six rounds fired at the 600 block of West Johnson in South Peoria around 8:30 p.m..
