On October 14, 2024, at approximately 6:42 p.m., 18-year-old Terrence Maxwell was fatally shot in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 100 block of North Menard Avenue. Maxwell sustained a gunshot wound to the face and was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
