On October 14, 2024, at approximately 6:42 p.m., 18-year-old Terrence Maxwell was fatally shot in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. The incident occurred in the 100 block of North Menard Avenue. Maxwell sustained a gunshot wound to the face and was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Chicago Police Department is actively investigating the shooting. As of now, no arrests have been made. Authorities are urging anyone with inf ...
