Malcolm Sabbs, a 29-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on August 10, 2019, in the South Chicago neighborhood. The incident occurred around 1:35 a.m. while Sabbs was standing on the sidewalk in the 8600 block of South Exchange Avenue. A group of males approached him on foot and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
