Louis W. Chamness, aged 21, was fatally shot on June 9, 2017, in the Belmont Central neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago. At the time of the incident, Chamness was driving in the 5700 block of West Belden Avenue when he was targeted by individuals in a dark-colored vehicle.
