Christopher Janel Davis, a 45-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on February 26, 2020, in a drive-by shooting in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. Davis and a 36-year-old man were in the 1000 block of North Central Avenue around 12:30 p.m. when someone inside a passing vehicle opened fire.
