Demarko Molette, a 44-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 20, 2022, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. in an alley located in the 900 block of North Lawndale Avenue. According to reports, Molette was in the alley when an unknown gunman opened fire, striking him in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities.
