Demonte Glover, a 21-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot on February 1, 2023, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The incident occurred around 1:25 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Garfield Boulevard, where Glover was on the street when he was shot in the abdomen.
Glover was immediately transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
