John Louden, 63, male, Black/African American, was inside a residence in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood just after 4 a.m. on June 22, 2025, when stray gunfire pierced the quiet and found him. Bullets were fired from outside into the home on the 1300 block of South Kolin Avenue. Paramedics rushed John Louden, 63, male, to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he initially clung to life in critical condition before he died.
