Branden Colesio, a 22-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, lost his life to gun violence on July 3, 2023. The incident occurred in the Brighton Park area on the South Side of Chicago. According to the reports, Branden was standing on a sidewalk outside a Walgreens located in the 4700 block of South Western Avenue when a car approached. Someone inside the vehicle opened fire, striking Branden with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and buttocks.
