Salvador Suarez, aged 21, was fatally shot on June 19, 2016, in Chicago, Illinois. The shooting occurred in the Brighton Park neighborhood, a part of the city known for its challenges with gun violence and gang activity. Salvador was targeted in what appeared to be a drive-by shooting, a method that had become increasingly common in gang-related activities during that period in Chicago.
