Dekarlos Scott, a 15-year-old boy, was tragically shot and killed on June 21, 2014, in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. The shooting occurred around 10:05 p.m. when Dekarlos and another teen were standing on the corner of 109th Street. A car arrived with multiple assailants who exited the vehicle and opened fire, striking Dekarlos fatally. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
