Weizhong Xiong, a 38-year-old Chinese man, was tragically killed on February 9, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Chinatown apartment building, where Xiong and his friend, Huayi Bian, were fatally shot during a robbery attempt. Both men were returning from dinner and were getting out of their car when they were approached by a man who demanded their belongings.
