On the night of February 8, 2015, Anthony Diaz, a 13-year-old Hispanic boy, was fatally shot in Chicago's Belmont Cragin neighborhood. Anthony had accompanied his older sisters, aged 15 and 17, to a prearranged fight with other girls stemming from a dispute on Facebook. The confrontation took place around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of West Grand Avenue and North McVicker Avenue.
