On March 21, 2023, Quentin Pruett, a 45-year-old man from Green Bay, Wisconsin, was shot and killed during a home invasion in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. Pruett was visiting friends and family in Chicago when the incident occurred. The shooting took place in a ground floor unit of an apartment building in the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road, just north of Howard Street.
