On a Sunday evening in Athens, Georgia, the life of 37-year-old Micah Daniel Thorp came to a tragic and mysterious end. On February 12, 2023, police responded to a 911 call from Ashley Smith, who reported that the pickup truck she was in with her boyfriend had driven into a ditch on Olympic Drive. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Micah Daniel Thorp, a male, unresponsive.
