On March 20, 2023, 17-year-old Joy Gray was tragically killed in a violent incident at her family's home in the Honey Creek subdivision of Conyers, Georgia, which is located in Rockdale County.

Joy Gray was one of three family members murdered in the incident. The other victims were identified as Tamekio Gray and Corey Gray, who were Joy's parents.
