On July 14, 2024, Clordette Hester, a 63-year-old resident of Conyers, Georgia, was found dead in the driveway of her home on Griffin Mountain Road in Rockdale County. The incident occurred after deputies from the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a woman screaming and gunshots fired at approximately 1:29 p.m..
