On June 20, 2024, Kyla Cooper, a 24-year-old mother of two children, aged 4 and 5, was fatally shot in Conyers, Georgia. The incident occurred at approximately 12:44 a.m. at a home on the 2600 block of Golfview Terrace, where Cooper had gone to inform her boyfriend, Rashad Thompson, that she was pregnant with his child.
