On April 15, 2023, 27-year-old Jarrell Lamar Williamson of Columbus, Georgia, was fatally shot at the Warren Williams Apartments located at 1100 12th Street. He was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
