Z' Andre Hasson Thomas, 21, a Black male from Columbus, Georgia, was killed on the evening of July 3, 2025. Around 7:20 p.m., gunfire erupted near the intersection of Forrest Road and Avalon Road in the city's southeast corridor. First responders and officers converged on the scene, where they found Thomas fatally wounded.
