A promising life was cut short on a Tuesday evening in June 2023, when Gary Tyner, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Metropolitan Garden Homes, an apartment complex located on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the northwest part of the city. Atlanta police officers responded to a call around 9:20 p.m. and discovered Tyner at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
