In the winter of 1981, fear held the city of Atlanta in a tight grip. A string of disappearances and murders, which would become known as the Atlanta Child Murders, had shaken the community to its core. It was in this climate of anxiety that 12-year-old Patrick Wayne Baltazar, a young Black male, vanished on February 6th.
