Deondra Barksdale, a 23-year-old single mother from Washington, Georgia, was fatally shot on June 24, 2023. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. at the WD Liquor Store located at 204 Whitehall Street in Washington. Barksdale had just purchased fruit juice for her young daughter, Ki'Ari Sanai, who was only two years old at the time.
