Summary based on 4 sources
In the late afternoon of August 24, 2023, the life of 25-year-old Teemah “Tink” Nero, a Black male, was tragically cut short in what investigators believe was a domestic dispute in a northwest Atlanta home. Police were called to a residence on Kennesaw Drive around 5:20 p.m., where they discovered Nero had been shot. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into the shooting led authorities to Erin Hagan. According to arrest warrants, Hagan was accused of fatally shooting Nero in the thigh following a dispute. In an attempt to conceal his involvement, Hagan allegedly removed the firearm, shell casings, and an Apple iPad that contained evidence of their altercation from the scene of the crime.

Less than a month after Nero's death, on September 19, 2023, Erin Hagan was arrested in Douglas County and subsequently booked into the Fulton County Jail. He faces a string of serious charges, including murder, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His prior conviction in February 2020 for possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony led to the latter charge. Hagan is being held without bond as he awaits trial for his alleged role in the death of Teemah Nero.
