In the summer of 2019, the life of 18-year-old Efrin Long Jr. was tragically cut short by gun violence in Atlanta, Georgia. On June 20, the young man was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The shooting occurred in the 2000 block of Gideons Drive in the northwestern part of the city.
