Lamar "Kali" Shuler Jr., a 25-year-old resident of Covington, Georgia, was tragically murdered on August 29, 2023. The incident occurred when Shuler was shot to death while sitting in his car. According to his mother, Carmen Velez, Shuler had been at home on the night of August 23, 2023, when he received a text message from someone he believed to be a friend, asking him to meet in Oakwood.
