On September 18, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the Liberty Commons Apartments in Columbus, Georgia, resulting in the death of 4-year-old Jacquese Walker Jr. The incident happened early in the morning when police were called to the apartment complex around 8 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a woman who had been shot several times and was in critical condition.
