Death by Force

On September 30, 2023, 14-year-old Emmanuel Dorsey was shot and killed in Griffin, Georgia, following a football game at Griffin Memorial Stadium. Dorsey, a freshman at Griffin High School, had been sent to live with his aunt and uncle in Griffin a few months prior to attend school there. He was excited to attend the big rivalry football game between Griffin High and Spalding High, but the evening ended in tragedy when he was shot down the street from the stadium while the game was ongoing.
