In the early morning hours of October 4, 2023, a sense of unease settled over a Sunoco gas station on Hawkinsville Road in Macon, Georgia. It was here that the life of 22-year-old Devin Dewayne Fincher, a male resident of Macon, was tragically cut short. Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the scene at approximately 6:19 a.m. following reports of a person shot.
