Jahmien Ahri Askew, a 44-year-old resident, was fatally shot on November 30, 2023, at the Bear Creek Senior Village Community in the City of Lovejoy, Georgia. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. when authorities responded to a 911 call reporting a loud noise. Upon arrival, officers found Askew with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
