Zion Barrett, 16, a Black male, was shot on the night of September 6, 2025, in a Hampton subdivision of Clayton County, Georgia, near the intersection of Paladin Drive and Trafalgar Way. Responding officers found him unresponsive with gunshot wounds around 10 p.m.; he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
