James John Rapozo, a 33-year-old officer with the Visalia Police Department, tragically lost his life on January 9, 1998, during a high-risk SWAT raid. Officer Rapozo was part of a team executing a search warrant at an apartment to arrest Alfonso Hernandez, a suspect involved in a Christmas Eve shooting that left five people injured.
