On December 1, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Athens, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 20-year-old Hugo Martinez-Cerritos. The incident took place in the 100 block of Massey Lane, where Athens-Clarke County Police Department (ACCPD) responded to an aggravated assault call around 10:55 PM.
