In the early evening of December 18, 2023, the community of Glennville, Georgia, was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 32-year-old Tyrice Harkeem Tigner. An African American male, Tigner was fatally shot near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Church Drive. The incident unfolded around 6:05 p.m., prompting numerous 911 calls from concerned residents who reported a shooting in their neighborhood.
